About Us

Jodee Grandwilliams is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and a Certified Chinese Herbalist committed to bringing her background and expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine to patients in need throughout Nassau and Western Suffolk Counties.  

Though she treats all health concerns, her speciality is in women’s health, infertility, nutrition, weight loss, headaches, allergies, and musculoskeletal pain.

She is also a Board Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  She received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2001 from the New York College for Wholistic Health Education and Research in Syosset, NY.   While there her studies included Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Amma Massage, T’ai Chi Chuan, Qi Gong, Yoga, as well as a complete western science curriculum.  She is trained in the technique known as Nickolaus exercise that encompasses the fundamentals of T’ai chi, Qi gong and yoga.    

Her philosophical approach to health and treatment includes a strong emphasis on patient education.  Through her understanding of the patient’s lifestyle, she is able to refocus and direct each one towards a more enlightened and evolved understanding of their past, present and future health issues.  Her nutritional knowledge enables her to bring "food as medicine" approach  to her patients. She is committed to empowering her patients in their quest for health.  This is the key to the journey at hand.

Jodee maintain’s a strong commitment to the promotion of integrating Eastern and Western medicines as the future model of the health care system. She encourages dialogue with the patient’s other health care providers, so as to understand and treat each individual holistically.
